Esther  moved to Bristol 12 years ago and started playing for a 5 a side team which she was involved in for about 7 years. She is a long suffering Leeds United fan (!), and now a big supporter of Bristol Academy WFC!

Esther has two jobs, on the leadership team at Ebe Church, where her main work is involved in mentoring and pastoral care for people aged 18-30 and Project Coordinator for a charity called Bristol Noise.

Esther says:

“I have enjoyed the last few weeks getting to know staff and players at Bristol Academy, they are a great group of people and their commitment to their sport is really inspiring.  I am looking forward to being a part of the set up at Bristol Academy and supporting the players and staff at the club in the best possible way.”

“I think it’s awesome that Sports Chaplaincy UK is committed to seeing more chaplains in sports across the country and it can only mean good things for people involved in playing for and supporting sports teams. I am excited to be a part of this!”
